Kitchen remodeling · Treasure Coast, FL

Kitchen remodeling on the Treasure Coast, FL, planned as one room.

A kitchen goes wrong when the counters, backsplash and floor are three separate jobs. We plan them as one room, so the island lands where the floor tile lines up and the backsplash ends where the counter does.

  • Quartz, granite & marble counters
  • Waterfall islands
  • Custom backsplash
  • Tile floors through the room

Design first

Start with how you cook.

Where you prep, where people stand while you cook, where the light falls in the afternoon. Layout and surfaces get settled at the free design consultation, before anything is ordered.

That's also where the stone, the backsplash and the floor get chosen together, with samples in the room.

Counters & islands

The surface you see every day.

Quartz, granite and marble, templated once the base is set so the fit is exact. Waterfall islands, where the top folds down the sides, need a tight miter at each corner so the veining reads as one piece.

Backsplash & floors

Where a tile company makes the difference.

You look at the backsplash every time you cook. Outlets get planned into the layout, cuts land at the edges instead of mid-wall, and the grout color is chosen with the counter in the room.

Floors run through the kitchen and into the rooms around it, so there's no seam where the old tile stops.

  • Mosaic, subway and slab-look backsplash
  • Large-format and wood-look floors
  • Outlets planned into the tile layout

Watch out for
Polished is slick when wet. Use the honed or textured version in the same look for bathrooms and entries.

What does a kitchen remodel include?

Whatever the room needs from us: counters and islands, backsplash, tile floors and the finish work around them. It all gets scoped at the free design consultation, so you see one plan and one price.

Quartz or granite?

Quartz is consistent and doesn't need sealing. Granite is natural stone, every slab is different, and it gets resealed now and then. Granite shrugs off a hot pan better; quartz wants a trivet. Past that, it comes down to the look you want.

What drives the cost of a kitchen remodel?

The size of the counters and the stone you choose, an island with a sink, moving plumbing, and how much backsplash and floor tile goes in.

Should I do the floors at the same time?

It's the best time to. Running new tile through the kitchen and into the rooms next door is far easier before the counters go back in.
